Description
Are you motivated to join a busy pharmacy? Our client in Kwekwe seeks to hire a Dispensary Assistant to help the team.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurately dispense prescription medications and medical products under the supervision of the pharmacist.
2. Prepare prescriptions by counting pills, labeling bottles, pricing, and compounding medications as required.
3. Process medical aid claims under NH263 to ensure smooth patient transactions.
4. Monitor product expiry dates and remove any stock with a shelf life of less than 6 months.
5. Conduct thorough investigations on unresolved prescriptions (hanging scripts) to ensure they are addressed promptly and effectively.
6. Manage stock orders, deliveries, and proper storage to maintain inventory accuracy.
7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and complaints professionally.
8. Stay up to date with industry developments, pharmacy regulations, and best practices.
9. Candidate staying in or willing to relocate to Kwekwe

Qualifications and Experience
1. Relevant qualification in Dispensary Assistance or Pharmacy Technology.
2. A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a dispensary or pharmacy environment.
3. At least 2 years of experience in a busy, high-volume, fast-paced pharmacy setting.
4. At least 5 'O' Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
5. Extensive knowledge of dispensary operations, pharmacy workflows, and stock management processes.
6. Extensive knowledge of medicine brands, generic medicines, and trade names of medications.
7. Extensive knowledge and practical experience in processing medical aid claims through the Health263 (NH263) system.
8. Proficiency in pharmacy software and dispensary management systems.
9. Sound understanding of health and safety regulations within a pharmacy environment.
10. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
12. Active team player with the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic working environment.

Starting salary 500USD +Transport & lunch allowance 200usd on probation period of 3 months. Salary to be revised based on performance thereafter
