Cyber Risk Analyst.

AFC Commercial Bank, part of AFC Holdings, has an opening for a Cyber Risk Analyst. The role falls under the Information Security and Compliance Manager. The person hired will watch network activity for unusual behavior, handle security incidents, and put preventive measures in place.

Main responsibilities
- Examine and review internal audit, fraud, and loss incident reports
- Create and update cybersecurity plans for software systems, networks, data centers, and hardware
- Perform quality checks on software and infrastructure to find security gaps and risks
- Track software and infrastructure for internal or external attacks, breaches, and hacks, then suggest fixes
- Investigate and deal with security events as they happen, keep banking services running, and write detailed incident reports
- Review Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans, then provide recommendations
- Research possible cyber risks and threats both locally and internationally, including internal and external sources, and report findings to the Information Security and Compliance Manager

Key skills and abilities
- Able to design and carry out vulnerability assessments and penetration tests. Can perform cybersecurity evaluations
- Experience with risk modeling or quantitative risk projects is an added advantage

Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Security certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CEH are a plus
- One to three years of experience in technology services, cybersecurity, and risk management or a similar environment
