Mutapa Gold Resources is recruiting
The company has an opening for a qualified Electrician to work at its Shamva site. The position reports to the Electrical Engineer.

Main responsibilities
- Carry out routine checks and servicing of LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, VSDs/soft starters, pumps, conveyors, crushers, ventilation fans, and lighting according to OEM guidelines and maintenance schedules
- Respond to electrical faults in your section, find the cause, and replace or repair parts like motors, contactors, breakers, relays, sensors, cables, and terminations to reduce downtime
- Monitor equipment condition by recording load currents, temperatures, insulation resistance, vibration, and breaker trip data, then highlight trends and suggest part replacements
- Uphold good housekeeping and follow SHEQ standards for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality in all work areas
- Handle paperwork including work orders, updating as-built drawings and loop sheets, keeping asset records, and logging failure details in the CMMS

Candidate requirements
- Five O Level subjects including Mathematics, English, and Science
- Class 1 Electrician Journeyman Certificate or a similar trade qualification
- At least five years of experience in a comparable role
