We Are Hiring: Client Support Officer

Doves Financial Services is looking to fill the Client Support Officer role based in Victoria Falls.

*Organizational Structure*
Job Title: Client Support Officer
Work Location: Victoria Falls
Reporting Line: First-level supervisor is Client Support Officer, second-level is Finance and Administration, third-level is Operations Manager
Team Oversight: None
Department: Doves Financial Services

Requirements & How to apply

Requirements*
1. Hold a degree or diploma in commerce or a related field.
2. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
3. Familiarity with operations in the microfinance industry.
4. Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
5. Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, with at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related sectors.
6. Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its value chain.

*Main Responsibilities*
1. Build corporate partnerships by identifying and bringing on board pharmaceutical companies for loan and financial service offerings. Negotiate and sign MOUs or service-level agreements with key industry players.
2. Manage key accounts by building and maintaining ongoing relationships with decision-makers in the pharmaceutical sector.
3. Handle client acquisition and onboarding, including developing strategies to onboard pharmaceutical companies and guiding departments to support salary deduction arrangements.
4. Focus on sector-specific product marketing by working with product teams to design and promote credit solutions tailored to pharmaceutical businesses and their staff. Develop and run campaigns targeting inventory financing, working capital, and salary-based loans.
5. Conduct market intelligence and analysis by monitoring competitors and industry trends relevant to pharmaceutical finance. Track market factors such as drug pricing, regulations, and supply chain issues that affect client cash flow and financing needs.
6. Drive lead generation and conversion by sourcing qualified leads from pharmaceutical companies and converting them into clients. Meet monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversions.
7. Manage stakeholder relationships by maintaining long-term, trust-based connections with pharmaceutical clients, associations, and industry bodies. Attend trade shows, sector meetings, and conferences to represent the company.
8. Provide performance reporting and insights by analyzing and reporting on campaign results, client feedback, and uptake rates. Share regular updates on pharmaceutical sector accounts and partnerships.
9. Conduct market research to understand the pharmaceutical industry’s value chain, trends, and key players.
10. Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage pharmaceutical clients, leveraging microfinance solutions to address their specific needs.
11. Work with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of pharmaceutical companies and effective integration of services.
