Position: Head of Medical Services

Job overview:
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and growing the medical services side of the business.

Main duties include:
- Leading the launch, expansion, and day-to-day management of FMHS medical centers and primary healthcare clinics across the country
- Serving as the Practitioner in Charge for the Medical Services Division or identifying appropriate specialist consultants to fulfill this role for facility registration
- Creating and reviewing policies for the Medical Services Division, including standard operating procedures and clinical guidelines
- Working with specialist doctors in various fields to strengthen the business model
- Making sure all medical centers and clinics meet requirements set by MOPCZ, HPA, City Council, and other regulatory bodies
- Advising on purchasing and replacing medical equipment for both new and existing facilities
- Setting up a fully functioning Clinical & Medical Affairs Committee and establishing a schedule for clinical audits
- Carrying out consultations, diagnoses, treatments, and ensuring proper patient record keeping and confidentiality
- Following up on patient progress, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and educating patients on correct health practices
- Taking part in wellness programs and coordinating support services such as lab, dental, optometry, and pharmacy to create a one-stop healthcare model

•Candidate requirements:
- MBChB degree and a valid open practicing certificate
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a management position
- Strong leadership, business, and customer care skills
- Ability to implement modern medical practices and develop medical center strategies
- Excellent communication and high ethical standards
- Specialization in a medical field or a postgraduate qualification in Business or Project Management is an advantage
- Previous experience in setting up and running clinics or medical centers is preferred
