Senior Credit Controller

- Position: Senior Credit Controller
- Job overview: Croco Holdings is seeking suitably qualified applicants to fill a Senior Credit Controller vacancy within the group.

- Key responsibilities:
- Assess how creditworthy new and current customers are by reviewing financial records and credit scores
- Establish and track credit limits and payment terms in line with company rules
- Actively follow up on overdue payments through calls and email to hit collection targets
- Arrange payment plans with debtors and start legal proceedings for long-term defaulters when needed
- Reconcile complicated customer accounts and handle all debtor queries quickly and accurately
- Create weekly and monthly reports covering overdue accounts, ageing analysis, collection results, and cash flow projections
- Develop and keep professional relationships with clients to encourage prompt payments
- Work with sales and operations teams to sort out billing issues and customer questions
- Take on other tasks assigned by management

- Qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Accounting or Business Finance, ACCA, CIMA, or a similar qualification
- A Diploma in Credit Management or professional certification like CA, ACCA, CIMA is an added advantage
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in credit control, preferably in a large company or the motor industry
- Skilled in ERP systems such as Sage Pastel Evolution and advanced Excel
- Hold a clean Class 4 driver’s license
- Male candidates are encouraged to apply
