Graduate Trainee

Organisation and role:
DAPP Zimbabwe is hiring a Graduate Trainee for its Communications Department. The job is based on-site in Highlands, Harare. They want a motivated graduate who can get practical experience in a fast-paced development setting.

Main duties:
- Help develop and run communication strategies and campaigns
- Produce content for social media, newsletters, reports, and the website
- Record projects through photography and storytelling
- Support events and engage with stakeholders
- Manage and update communication platforms

Requirements for applicants:
- Diploma or degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a similar area
- Strong written and verbal communication ability
- Basic understanding of digital and social media platforms
- Creative, detail-focused, and able to work well in a team
- Good skills in Microsoft Office
- Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Extra advantages:
- Experience in content creation, graphic design, or photography
- Interest in communications work within the development sector
