About the role:
- Zimbabwe Alloys Chrome, a major ferro-chrome producer, is recruiting a qualified and experienced candidate for the Mining and Contracts Manager position
Key duties:
- Handle strategic mine planning and carry out project implementation
- Oversee and manage all mining and processing activities done by tributors and contractors to achieve business and departmental goals
- Prepare and control departmental budgets along with cost management systems
- Create a departmental environment that supports good industrial and labour relations and motivates staff to meet company objectives
- Lead Safety, Health, and Environment plus Quality Management Systems initiatives in your area

Requirements & How to apply
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Mining Engineering degree from a recognized university; a Zimbabwe Mine Managers Certificate of competency is an advantage
- Must hold a full blasting license
- At least 5 years of mining experience, preferably in a similar role
- Ability to manage logistics for remote mining operations
- Experience in contract management and controlling contract miners
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision in a production-focused setting
