About the job:
- Looking for a skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to help the Chief Legal Officer strengthen the company’s risk and compliance systems
- Role focuses on making sure the organization follows all applicable laws and regulations while promoting good governance, ethics, and accountability

Roles and responsibilities:
- Create and put in place the organization’s risk management framework and policies
- Find, evaluate, and track organizational risks across every business area
- Keep the corporate risk register maintained and updated regularly
- Make sure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Follow regulatory changes and advise management on what they mean for the business
- Run compliance reviews, audits, and investigations when needed
- Help develop and set up internal policies and governance structures
- Put together risk and compliance reports for the Chief Legal Officer, Executive Management, and Board Committees
- Deliver risk and compliance training to staff to encourage awareness and best practices
- Work with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders as required
- Set up systems, mechanisms, and procedures so all AML issues are reported
- Run staff training and awareness programmes
- Investigate reports without delay
- Report all AML matters to the FIU, Audit and Risk Committee, and Exco

About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or a related field
- Professional certification in Risk and/or Compliance is required
- At least five years experience in a leadership role in risk management and/or compliance
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
- Experience working in a regulated environment is highly preferred
- Good understanding of legal and compliance principles
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Able to interpret laws and regulatory requirements
- Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders
