Front-End Loader Operator

Job title: Front-End Loader Operator at Croco Holdings

Key responsibilities:
- Use a front-end loader to load ore, waste, or aggregates into hoppers, trucks, or stockpiles
- Maintain a steady and controlled supply of material to the crushing plant
- Carry out pre-start checks to confirm the machine is in safe working order
- Follow standard operating procedures when running equipment
- Move materials efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Do routine inspections and basic upkeep such as cleaning and lubrication
- Identify mechanical issues and report any faults or unusual behavior
- Always wear required personal protective equipment
- Operate the loader safely to prevent accidents and equipment damage
- Ensure loading is timely to avoid downtime at the plant
- Reduce fuel use and limit unnecessary wear on the machine
- Work closely with crusher operators and supervisors to keep production steady

Key skills and attributes:
- Skilled in operating heavy machinery, especially front-end loaders
- Basic understanding of equipment mechanics
- Strong commitment to safety
- Good hand-eye coordination and detail-oriented
- Able to work alone and as part of a team

Qualifications and experience:
- Must have a valid Front-End Loader Operator Certificate or License
- Minimum of 5 O Levels or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years operating front-end loaders in mining or industrial sites
- Experience in crushing or processing plants is an advantage
