Production Supervisor×2

- Company: Baker’s Inn Retail – Northern Region, Harare
- Position: Production Supervisor, 2 posts available
- Role purpose: Oversee factory operations during your shift to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production while meeting quality and output targets

- Job responsibilities:
- Check that machinery and equipment are working before shifts start and report any defects
- Confirm utilities and raw materials are available before production
- Run pre-shift briefings and enforce hygiene and operational standards
- Manage shift staff attendance, performance, and discipline
- Track production output to meet targets and timelines
- Monitor raw material usage and compare it against expected yields
- Keep accurate records of products sent to packing or dispatch
- Prepare and submit daily production and waste reports
- Maintain clean-as-you-go practices and proper end-of-shift cleaning
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and SOPs
- Identify team training needs and support performance management

Qualifications and experience:
- Certificate or diploma in Baking Technology, Food Science, or related field
- Minimum three years’ experience in a supervisory role within a production environment
- At least five O-Level subjects including Mathematics and English
- Strong understanding of production processes, yield control, and quality standards
- Good communication and team coordination skills
