Description


The company is looking to hire a Payroll Officer who is detail-oriented and deadline-focused. The role involves managing all aspects of employee compensation, benefits, and legal compliance. The person will report to the Head of Human Capital and Training and must ensure flawless monthly payroll processing.

Key duties include:
- Running the full monthly payroll and filing all required statutory submissions (PAYE, NSSA, ZIMDEF) at least 5 days before the due dates, and keeping up to date with any tax law updates.
- Keeping complete and accurate employee records (physical and digital) in the HRIS system for every staff change.
- Preparing quarterly analyses on industry salary trends and best compensation practices.
- Producing monthly payroll and compensation performance metrics.

Requirements & How to apply

Qualifications and experience needed:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance (a professional HR or payroll certification is preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar payroll-intensive position.
- Technical expertise in payroll software and knowledge of Zimbabwe Labour Law and tax regulations.
- Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment.
