Class 2 Diesel Plant Fitter

We are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Diesel Plant Fitter to join the engineering team at Mutapa Gold Resources – Sitolobela.

The job involves working under the Diesel Plant Fitter in the engineering department.

Key duties include:
- Carrying out routine inspections to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of diesel engines and plants.
- Executing scheduled upkeep programs to keep equipment in good working order.
- Fixing breakdowns and doing needed repairs and rebuilds within set time limits.
- Making sure the workplace stays clean and meets health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining detailed logs of maintenance work, repairs and parts used.
- Following SHEQ rules and complying with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and other relevant legal requirements.

Requirements for the candidate:
- Holding a Class 2 qualification as a Diesel Plant Fitter or Motor Mechanic (including experience with yellow machines).
- Having at least one year of practical experience in the field.
