Technical Services Manager.

Mutapa Gold Resources – Silobela is looking for a seasoned Technical Services Manager.

The job is to add an experienced Technical Services Manager to the Technical Services team. The position works under the General Manager.

Key duties include:
- Finding ways to improve operations by managing risk and spotting opportunities, solving technical problems and reducing threats.
- Running mineral resource management cycles that involve planning, scheduling, block modelling, mine planning, surveying and cost‑performance analysis.
- Overseeing direct and indirect reports to make the team work efficiently and create a supportive environment for short‑ and long‑term business goals.
- Handling underground ground support designs and stability checks.
- Making sure the mine follows approved plans and schedules while keeping quality standards, so the mining operation runs efficiently.
- Comparing actual results with budgets (quantitative and spatial) to evaluate performance and suggest alternatives for tactical and strategic plans.
- Giving clear leadership and developing the Technical Services team’s knowledge and skills.
- Promoting continual improvement of governance, procedures and standards.
- Following SHE policies and relevant standards like ISO 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.

Requirements for the role:
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or Surveying.
- Post‑graduate qualification in geoscience or mining management.
- Membership in a professional body related to the field.
- At least ten years of relevant work experience.
