Core Shed Attendants

We are recruiting two experienced Core Shed Attendants for the Freda Rebecca Gold Mine in Bindura.

The job is with the Technical Services team under the Exploration Geological Technician.

Responsibilities include:
- Upholding health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Gathering core boxes from underground and surface sites.
- Logging core samples.
- Marking and labeling core boxes.
- Taking geotechnical measurements on core.
- Cutting and preparing core samples for dispatch.
- Guaranteeing the quality of the core samples.
- Measuring bulk density of core specimens.
- Handling diamond drilling, derigging and rigging operations.
- Managing inventory of boxes.
- Carrying out any other assigned duties.

Requirements for applicants:
- Completion of 5 O-level subjects including English and Mathematics.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in gold mining or exploration work.
