Description

A temporary job opening for a Registration Clerk at TIMB, with the successful applicant based at the Mvurwi Office and reporting to the Regional Manager.

Key duties involve:
- Gathering and confirming the legitimacy of necessary documents.
- Monitoring file transfers through both computer systems and manual records to ensure accuracy.
- Updating growers' records in their respective applications for later use.
- Checking that growers' documents meet stipulated compliance standards.
- Making sure customers are attended to promptly and their inquiries are resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
- Handling receipt, recording and banking of payments.

Requirements & How to apply

Minimum requirements include:
- 5 O’ Level passes with English and Mathematics at Grade C or better.
- Basic computer skills in packages like ICDL or business-related certifications.
- An advanced qualification is a plus.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in the tobacco sector.

Other needed skills are:
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Capacity to work under instruction.
- Being well‑organized, task‑focused, analytical with strong interpersonal communication.
- Good report‑writing ability.
