Description
Doves Financial Services is looking for a loans Officer based in Harare.
Organisational Structure
- Position title: Loans Officer.
- Reports to: Operations Manager (first‑level supervisor).
- Department: Doves Financial Services.
- Subordinates: none.
- Grade: to be assigned.

Major Responsibilities
- Identify eligible customers and promote loan products.
- Boost loan income by meeting sales goals.
- Assess loan applications thoroughly.
- Keep accurate records of loans and credit data.
- Advise rejected applicants on suitable loan amounts.
- Explain financial risks and run financial literacy sessions for clients.
- Understand the Harare informal market.
- Manage client retention, marketing, and debt recovery effectively.

Requirements & How to apply
Qualifications and Competencies
- Required education: a degree or diploma in commerce.
- Needed skills: strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Experience: at least one year in small‑business lending; prior work in Harare is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.
- Should be detail‑oriented and good with numbers.
