Technical Manager

Position Summary
Fidelity Life is looking for an experienced finance professional to lead and oversee the organization’s financial and administrative operations. The Technical Manager will ensure compliance, financial integrity, and sound management practices while contributing strategic insights that support informed decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
Build strong relationships with operational finance teams to address financial issues efficiently.
Manage and optimize cash flow to maintain a healthy financial position.
Oversee statutory reporting and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion of audits.
Review financial policies and procedures to align them with accounting standards.
Lead budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis activities.
Provide accounting advice and guidance to departments across the organization.
Prepare consolidated financial statements and maintain proper financial documentation.
Ensure strong financial controls and governance processes are implemented.

Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or ICAZ.
At least five years of relevant work experience.
Experience in insurance or financial services is an added advantage.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret financial reports and translate data into actionable insights.
Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
