Description
PHARMACIES IN KWEKWE HAVE VACANCIES.
CANDIDATES SHOULD BE BASED OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO KWEKWE.
The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and ethical pharmaceutical services in line with the current pharmacy regulations. The role includes dispensing medications, offering clinical advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting optimal patient care. The Pharmacist will also oversee stock management, maintain accurate records, and supervise pharmacy support staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately and professionally.
• Provide patient counselling on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
• Ensure compliance with MCAZ, PCZ, and statutory pharmaceutical regulations.
• Manage procurement, storage, and stock control, including monitoring expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and required legal documentation.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, dispensers, and other support staff.
• Promote rational medicine use and offer clinical pharmacy support when needed.
• Participate in stock audits and ensure proper handling of controlled substances.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service.

Requirements & How to apply
• Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration with the Pharmaceutical Council of Zimbabwe (PCZ) and valid practising licence.
• Knowledge of MCAZ regulations, essential medicines, and local pharmaceutical laws.
• Mid-level experience in community or hospital pharmacy.
• Strong dispensing accuracy and counselling skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to manage stock, records, and regulatory documentation.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to patient safety.
• Computer literacy (preferred: experience with pharmacy management systems, and NH263).
