Graduate Trainee

Citimed Chitungwiza Hospital is advertising a Graduate Trainee position in Finance/Accounting.

The role is for a recent university graduate in accounting or finance who wants to launch their career. The program gives hands‑on experience in various finance areas and mentorship from senior professionals to develop practical skills for a competitive business environment.

Key duties include:
1. Working in different finance departments such as payables, receivables, and management reporting.
2. Helping prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
3. Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
4. Doing financial analysis and interpreting data for decisions.
5. Ensuring internal controls and accounting standards are followed.
6. Supporting audit preparations and liaising with external auditors.

Qualifications needed:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related finance field from a recognized university.
2. Strong academic results (minimum second‑class upper division).
3. Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
5. Attention to detail and high accuracy.
6. Ability to work alone and in a team.
7. Fluency in English.
