HR Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution company based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing HR strategies and policies that drive organizational growth and support overall business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
• Lead recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition processes
• Manage employee relations and promote staff engagement
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver training and development initiatives
• Oversee performance management and employee development programs
• Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory requirements
• Conduct disciplinary hearings in accordance with company procedures

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in an HR management role
• Strong understanding of labour legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated success in managing HR functions effectively
• Experience within the pharmaceutical sector is an added advantage
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI)
• Membership in recognized HR professional bodies
