The Zimbabwe Health Board (ZHB) is advertising a position titled Administrative/Operations Associate.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Health Board Coordinator in managing and executing current projects.
Key job duties:
- Offer general administrative assistance to the Health Board Coordinator.
- Process grant applications, work plans, and reports.
- Handle procurement procedures.
- Help the Health Board Coordinator prepare contracts and purchase orders.
- Manage accounting and logistics tasks.
- Perform monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities.
- Keep administrative tasks up to date.
Requirements for the position:
- Self-starter who can work in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Skill in interacting with local and international partners at all levels.
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, effective under pressure, flexible, and willing to learn.
- Ability to travel to UMC health facilities in Zimbabwe.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the United Methodist Church is a plus.

- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in English and Shona.
- A clean driver's license.
