Production planner & Controller (Plus Five Pharmaceuticals)

We are looking for a Production Planner and Controller to manage the scheduling, coordination, and oversight of production operations at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for aligning production output with customer demand while maximizing resource utilization and controlling costs.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Create and execute production schedules, including master production plans, materials planning, and capacity forecasts
• Work closely with production teams to ensure all manufacturing activities are completed on time
• Track and regulate production processes to maintain compliance with GMP standards and internal policies
• Review production data to identify inefficiencies and implement initiatives that boost productivity and reduce operational costs
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain departments to secure timely availability of raw materials and components
• Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and minimize material wastage
• Provide planning and production control insights to senior management and other departments
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs and help implement measures that enhance production quality and efficiency
• Supervise and mentor the production planning and control team

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Production Engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Supply Chain, Process Management, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing setting
• Strong understanding of GMP standards and pharmaceutical production processes
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational capabilities
• Proficiency in production planning/control tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Professional certification in production planning and control (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
