Stores controller Plus five Pharmaceuticals

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Stores Controller to manage the raw materials and packaging warehouse at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bulawayo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and supervising a team of warehouse personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain stock levels for raw materials and packaging items
• Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of all materials
• Carry out routine stock counts and resolve any variances
• Develop, implement, and uphold warehouse policies and procedures
• Ensure full compliance with GMP guidelines and internal company standards
• Supervise, mentor, and support warehouse staff
• Work closely with production planning and procurement departments to ensure timely material availability

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy Technology, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience in a warehouse or stores management position
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities
• Proven experience managing and guiding a team
• Competence in warehouse management systems and related software
• Background in the pharmaceutical industry is essential
• Professional certification in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP platforms
