Conservation Technical Quality Control and Assurance

Job Description
- Leads and administers prescribed early burning programs and fire management in the L.E. department.
- Oversees staff and mentors on fire management & research in protected areas.
- Guides technical support through training and ensures monitoring technology works properly.
- Handles departmental administration (reports, schedules, contracts, procurement).

Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Forestry, Wildlife Management, Ecology, or related field.
- Highly proficient in conservation technology & African Parks software.
- In-depth knowledge of conservation software used in the JNP.
- Legal & reporting knowledge (permits, standards, monitoring procedures).
- Experience in GIS, remote sensing, and wildlife monitoring (machine learning, data analysis).
- Proven experience in business intelligence & monitoring systems.
- Strong analytical, teamwork, and training skills.
- Physically fit for fieldwork and able to meet deadlines.
