Job Opportunity: Diesel Plant Fitter (2 Positions Available)

Role Summary:
Primus is hiring two Diesel Plant Fitters to service and maintain diesel-powered industrial equipment. The ideal candidates will have solid technical expertise and be committed to safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and servicing of diesel plant machinery.
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Overhaul or replace engines, transmissions, and related parts.
- Ensure all machinery is safe and fully functional.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance logs.
- Comply with safety guidelines and site policies.
- Collaborate with machine operators to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Candidate Requirements:

- Certified Diesel Plant Fitter or similar qualification.
- Hands-on experience with diesel and heavy plant equipment.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults.
- - Familiarity with hydraulic and diesel systems.
- Capable of working independently and managing pressure.
- Physically fit and mindful of safety.
- Ready to work both on-site and off-site.
- Must hold a valid Class 2 driver's license.
