Zimasco – Job Opportunity: Mining Contracts Manager

Zimasco (Pvt) Ltd is hiring for the role of Mining Contracts Manager in its Shurugwi & South Dyke Mining Division on a 3-year renewable contract (based on performance).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mining contracts to ensure contractor compliance with targets and legal requirements.
- Conduct mine planning, design, and manage outsourced mining projects.
- Offer technical support, manage budgets, and supervise SHE matters.
- Train and develop subordinate staff.

Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Mining Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including 2+ years at Mine Captain level (preferably with both surface & underground mining).
- Experience in: Mining Contracts Management, Mine Planning & Design, Project Management, and ideally gold mining.
- Valid Full Blasting Licence.
- Knowledge of mining software and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong communication (verbal & written).
- Familiarity with safety systems, e.g., NOSA SHE, is an added plus.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s license.
