We are currently looking for a proactive, meticulous Accountant & Administrative Professional to join our team. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining financial accuracy and driving operational efficiency within our fast-paced tech environment.
Role Summary
This position combines financial oversight with essential administrative support. The successful candidate will manage the firm's fiscal health while streamlining daily office operations, ensuring that our ICT business functions smoothly and remains compliant with all regulatory standards.
Primary Duties
Financial Oversight and Analysis
• Generate precise monthly management reports to assist in strategic ICT project evaluation and planning.
• Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Organize financial documentation to ensure seamless internal and external auditing processes.
• Create specialized financial dashboards that provide clear insights into our technology-driven operations.
Taxation and Regulatory Alignment
• Handle all ZIMRA filings, tax calculations, and official submissions in line with Zimbabwean law.
• Ensure the timely processing of NSSA contributions and other statutory obligations.
• Monitor changes in fiscal legislation to ensure the company remains fully compliant at all times.
Inventory and Office Management
• Perform routine audits and reconciliations for hardware and software stock.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage procurement documentation and purchase orders.
• Maintain the company asset register and look for ways to improve administrative productivity.
Digital Systems Management
• Execute financial tasks using platforms such as Zoho, QuickBooks, or Odoo.
• Utilize the MS Office Suite and cloud collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint for efficient task management.
• Propose and implement modern software solutions to automate and enhance existing workflows.

Requirements & How to apply


• A University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
• Professional accreditation (ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is highly preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience, ideally within the technology or ICT service industries.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books or comparable ERP systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and Zimbabwean tax regulations.
Core Skills
• Strong financial intelligence and a firm grasp of tax compliance.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage vendors and inventory.
• A tech-forward mindset with an understanding of the ICT business landscape.
• Highly ethical approach to handling sensitive financial information.
• Effective communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
• A background in sales or the ability to meet sales targets is considered a distinct advantage.
